Multi-slice technology dramatically improves the diagnostic efficacy of CT exams. This advanced imaging method involves the simultaneous acquisition of multiple data slices during a single rotation — increasing image resolution so smaller lesions can be detected. Our ASTEION represents the future of this technology by offering four slices, varying in thickness from half a millimeter to 8 millimeters, during each 3/4-second rotation.
